WFSC Dialogue Series: People Behind Our Food – Uncovering Hidden Realities in Agriculture
November 5 at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Part of the World Food System Center (WFSC) Dialogue Series.
People who produce, harvest, and process our food are essential to food systems, yet their experiences often remain unseen. While sustainability debates frequently focus on environmental and economic dimensions, the social realities of agriculture, including working conditions, recognition, equity, and well-being, receive far less attention.
This Dialogue Series event brings these perspectives to the forefront through the experiences of young farmers, farm women, and migrant workers. Together with researchers, practitioners, and advocates, participants will explore the challenges and opportunities shaping agricultural livelihoods today and reflect on broader questions of labor justice and social sustainability. Through personal stories, scientific insights, and open discussion, the event aims to inspire new ideas for more equitable and resilient food futures.
IAAS Switzerland is honored to collaborate with the ETH World Food System Center as a partner for this event.
